Stefan Saar

Hi! My name is Stefan Saar.
I’m an engineering and design enthusiast.

My Story

Ever since I was a little kid, my dream has been to become an inventor. I guess that’s where the inquisitiveness and desire for creation came from. I’ve always had a thing for problem-solving, which is part of the reason I like science subjects so much.
I’ve always tried my hardest in school and life, and I am striving to always use my full potential and grow.

When I was 13 years old, I created a small online business called UFORATAS, with which I was the first person to start selling two-wheeled electric scooters in Estonia. Getting experience in the marketing and importing fields and creating my first website for the project were my first big introductive steps into the business world.

Academically, I have proven to be capable of succeeding in a highly challenging environment and am always eager to improve myself in every way possible.
I graduated from the highest-ranking school in Estonia with a gold medal (cum laude) and was one of the top students in my class, scoring the highest points in the national exams. I also represented my school in numerous Physics and Mathematics Olympiads.

After high school, I served my time as a conscript in the Estonian Defence Forces. I joined an 11-month program and became a Platoon leader. Human-centred leadership, discipline, initiative, decision-making and time management are the few skills necessary for becoming a great leader.

After the military, I decided to start studying Design Engineering at Imperial College London, where I’m getting my Master’s degree in Engineering after the four-year program.
